IOE Pulchowk Campus and Smart Solar Nepal Corporation Pvt. Ltd., in collaboration with Smart Solar Corporation, Japan, have signed an MoU for the provision of solar power generation systems with storage batteries and joint research. The purpose is to promote mutual development, expand the adoption of solar power, and work towards a carbon-neutral society. The agreement includes the donation of solar panels, batteries, inverters, and other related equipment. The systems will be operational by the end of September 2023. The collaboration involves joint research on system design, construction, maintenance, optimization using AI-based weather forecasting, and other relevant technology development. IOE Pulchowk Campus will receive training and education to effectively utilize the installed system. The collaboration also aims to provide educational opportunities to IOE Pulchowk Campus students and support their career success worldwide. Together, they strive for a greener and sustainable future.
