Assistant Professor Dr. Ram Chandra Poudel from Appalachian State University, North Carolina, USA presented a talk program titled ” Dispatchable Renewable Energy: Integration of battery Energy Storage in the DC Link of Type 4 Wind Turbine” on 14 July 2023. He discussed about the intermittency issues with renewable energy penetration and how a sustainable power can be achieved by developing a proper control logic and use of Battery storage at DC Link of Type 4 wind turbine. Dr. Poudel encouraged undergraduate and master students regarding how to identify research gaps and how to start their research. The program was highly informative and inspiring, empowering young minds to innovate and excel in research in renewables.
